As of February 29, 2008 Aviation Partners Boeing estimates that Blended Winglet technology has saved the industry over 920 Million gallons of jet fuel.  APB projects that by year-end 2014, Blended Winglets will have saved in excess of 5 Billion gallons of jet fuel.
